KAC25 Acoustic Camera for Gas Leak and Corona Discharge Detection
Any gas escaping from a pressurized system through small gaps or cracks generates ultrasonic sound (inaudible to the human ear). The KAC25 acoustic camera detects audible noises and ultrasonic sound, processes it, and displays its location and intensity.
The leakage location can be easily identified based on the graphically projected noise (intensity) on the video camera image, and the device determines the estimated strength of the leakage and the resulting cost through intensity. At the press of a button, the measurement results and the photo of the inspected location can be stored, making it almost "child's play" to document and record the discovered deficiencies (leaks). The instrument also transforms ultrasonic sound into the audible frequency range. The intensity of the noise heard is stronger the closer we are to the leakage. The KAC25 acoustic camera's special noise focus function eliminates other noises.
