LMS Pimento Data Collector - Multi-channel mobile data collector for noise and vibration analysis

LMS Pimento Data Collector - The Pimento compact, rugged design, portable multi-channel data acquisition system is the personalized tool for traveling professionals in diagnostics: capable of handling most tasks in data collection and processing, whether it's rotating machinery analysis, acoustic, or structural analysis. Additionally, it offers incredible mobility, feeling just as comfortable in the field as in the lab.

Its use is incredibly simple and fast: connection, power on, measurement, and evaluation can be done immediately, along with result documentation. The device design can be fully customized to the user's needs. The smallest-equipped Pimento instrument comes with 4 analog channels, but it can be expanded up to a 24-channel system.

LMS Pimento Data Collector - Measurement and digitization

The Pimento offers both real-time data acquisition/evaluation and post-analysis of continuously recorded data. The latter capability is primarily used for the analysis of experiments that can only be performed once, which need to be recorded for various detailed analyses. A real-time oscilloscope is available for displaying signals in the time and frequency domain simultaneously. Channel sampling and bandwidth can be individually adjusted to eliminate unnecessary data volume.

Efficiency-enhancing capabilities

It is possible to create virtual signals (signals calculated from analog signals through mathematical operations); automation of measurements, evaluations, and documentation processes is also possible. Meanwhile, the Pimento can organize, label, and link data. All data and graphs can be directly printed, transferred to Windows programs (e.g., MS Word) using drag-and-drop, or exported. The data is compatible with the LMS CADA-X and LMS Virtual.Lab software packages. Through the LMS Tec.Manager software, measurement results can also be used for engineering teamwork.
