VMI Viber-X4 data collector and vibration analyzer handheld device, the worthy successor of the globally proven VMI X-Viber handheld device in thousands of units worldwide: in a modern design with high-level diagnostic capabilities, capable of measuring the vibration velocity effective value typical for the general condition of rotating machines (according to ISO 10816-3), as well as vibration displacement, vibration velocity, and vibration acceleration measurement, and spectrum analysis. During measurement data collection, prediction and limit value alarms are also displayed.
In addition, the Viber-X4 handheld device supports various bearing condition assessment technologies: high-frequency acceleration measurement with selectable filter, as well as demodulation (envelope analysis). Whether it is insufficient lubrication, incipient or severe bearing damage - the device reliably detects all of these.
The machines to be measured, measurement points, measured parameters, and indication and alarm levels can be predefined on a PC with the SpectraPro software, organized into routes, and uploaded to the handheld device via the USB (USB-C) port. Based on trends created from data collected with the Viber-X4 device and processed with the PC software, it can be estimated when each rotating machine needs to be repaired at the latest.
Thanks to the Viber-X4 handheld device's high line resolution (12,800 lines) FFT (spectrum analysis) capability, the causes of vibrations are easily recognizable. In addition to the device's large-sized and high pixel resolution graphical display for displaying vibration spectra and professional analysis, the device comes with the SpectraPro PC software, which includes a database with data from 9000 bearings and many evaluation tools to assist in the professional evaluation of spectra.
In addition, the Viber-X4 device is suitable for non-contact (infrared) temperature measurement, rotational speed measurement (with optional external sensor application), and dynamic single-plane balancing of rotating machines. Optional device software is required for the latter. Features
