MaintTech CXM Data Collector Handheld Device - Two-channel vibration meter, spectrum analyzer, and measurement data collector handheld device
MaintTech CXM Data Collector Handheld Device - The CXM handheld device simultaneously measures on two measuring channels, stores the data in its memory, and displays the measuring points of the measurement path (along with its old data), the spectra, the time signals, the envelope curves, the effective values, and the phase angles on its graphical display. In addition, it allows for shutdown and startup tests to be performed. All of this is presented with a rational, logically structured - Hungarian-language - user interface and graphical help, enabling vibration measurement, data collection, or even high-level machine vibration and bearing condition analysis to be carried out immediately without prior knowledge of the device. (Option: two-plane dynamic balancing.)

Additional Special Capabilities
Vibration Measurement/Spectrum Analysis/Data Collection The measuring points on the measurement path are displayed with textual names and recall of old data. While recording new data, limit value checks and appropriate alarms are already performed. Spectrum recordings to be made during the measurement path can be programmed for any frequency range (up to 0 ... 3,200 Hz) and resolution (up to 6,400 lines). However, the device can also be switched to "single" measurement mode at any time during the measurement process. For immediate evaluation of the spectra, the CXM device is equipped with a high-resolution graphical display capable of showing simple, harmonic, and sideband cursors. Furthermore, the amplitude and frequency axis of the vibration spectra can be stretched or compressed at the push of a button. Time Signals and Individual Spectrum Recording and Analysis Time signals are recorded in accordance with the spectrum settings. The frequency cursors are synchronized with the time signal cursors. Five "standard" frequency ranges (up to 12,800 Hz) and a special low-frequency range (0 ... 200 Hz) are available. The latter is specifically recommended for inspecting low-speed elements of wind turbines. Envelope Analysis (Demodulation) The CXM device offers envelope analysis (Envelope measurement or demodulation) with multiple adjustable measurement parameters, which is the most important and effective tool for the early detection of bearing faults and gear drive condition assessment. Shutdown and Startup Tests With the handheld device, shutdown and startup tests (e.g., for resonance search) can also be performed. During the shutdown or startup of the rotating machine, the vibration level and the corresponding phase angle are recorded depending on the speed. PC Connection The measured data from the device can be transferred to a PC (via USB), where the organized storage, display, and evaluation, compilation of measurement paths, as well as trend and reporting (with many convenient and automatic functions) are carried out using the Hungarian-language Windows-based software called CX-Spectra.
