The Sentry-G3 Machine Protection/Turbine Protection System meets the highest level of reliability requirements in accordance with API 670 standard. Its fully universal channel module can be configured to drive and process signals from most common sensors. No need for various modules or expansions: simply configure the system parameters to meet the required input, alarm, and other needs!

System Philosophy

The foundation of Sentry-G3 is its universal module unit with four channels independently programmable for continuous display, processing, and protection evaluation of a wide range of machine parameters (including vibration, expansion, temperature, speed, etc.). Through the application of the latest DSP technology, each channel can be configured and operated independently, with alarm relays and analog outputs independent of the functions of other modules, resulting in the scalable, high-integrity configurability of the Sentry-G3 system.

Each module is equipped with a color LCD display, allowing immediate and continuous access and display of machine parameters. The various display options enable numerical data, bar displays, alarm logging, and trend display of signals per channel. The Sentry-G3 module can provide the necessary sensor power supply according to the selected sensor coupling, e.g., for 2- or 3-channel ICP vibration sensors, ±24V eddy current distance sensors, transformer-coupled (inductive) LVDT displacement transducers, and a multitude of speed and temperature sensors. The time signal of each sensor is available on the front panel (buffered) analog output, where USB interface for programming/configuration, channel settings, and logging downloads are also available. The system is installed in 19" frames, which include redundant dual power supplies. The Sentry-G3 system has a very compact footprint - up to 24 measurement channels can fit in a 3U size frame. Each channel has an analog signal output (current and voltage) for connecting to process controllers and an alarm relay. Additional alarm relays can be connected using the digital outputs on the back of the channel module. Machinery Protection/Measurement Modes
