Rugged and Compact Design
The compact (only 46x56x90 mm) PI 1M thermal camera is primarily developed for industrial applications (as an installed thermal camera): it has a compact design, an IP67-rated metal housing, making it resistant to even the harshest conditions. Its spectral range is tailored for measuring high temperatures of metals.
Operation, Remote Control
Controlling the PI 1M thermal camera from a PC can be easily achieved in various ways. It features a USB 2.0 standard interface, allowing remote control of the camera and up to 80Hz thermal image data transfer, as well as powering the camera using the PI connect software.
PC Software
The versatile 32-bit Windows XP/Vista/Win7-compatible thermography software PI connect developed by Optris is specifically designed for industrial applications. The basic package (included with the thermal cameras) enables evaluation of stored thermal images, image documentation, and live remote control of the thermal camera.
