Description
Sensonics SP4(4) Seismic Sensor - The Sensonics-manufactured SP-4 piezoelectric seismic vibration sensor is a robust, easily transportable sensor that can be applied at any location and height without modification. The unique "reciprocal" arrangement of piezoelectric elements results in high sensitivity, combined with the possibility of input calibration.
Internal filters ensure optimal signal cutting. The output signal can represent either vibration velocity or acceleration relative to the ground with a sensitivity of up to 50 V/g or max. 2000 V/m*s-1. The stainless steel housing of the transducers protects them from the effects of mechanical and magnetic fields. The robust, durable, hermetic construction allows the sensors to be used in most industrial, outdoor, and even underwater environments. The sensor is specifically suitable for tasks with low, but varying and higher maximum acceleration levels. Various sensitivities, output signals, and electrical connections are available. Among other options, sensitivity can be selected between 2 V/g and 50 V/g, and for the built-in cable version, its length can also be chosen.
