PCB 653A01 vibration displacement sensor for vibration protection of slow-speed machinery
The PCB 653A01 vibration displacement sensor is designed to solve the problems of mechanical vibration switches and traditional vibration sensors. It uses a piezoelectric vibration sensor element to measure the low-frequency vibrations of slow-speed machinery, providing accurate vibration measurement. It measures the vibrations scaled in displacement, which is a suitable parameter for monitoring and detecting faults in such equipment. For example, the imbalance caused by damage to a cooling tower blade may be negligible when expressed in acceleration, meaning a mechanical vibration switch will never react to this fault, and even the vibration velocity may be so minimal that a vibration monitoring system built with a traditional vibration velocity sensor will only react to the structure's resonance.
The low-frequency vibrations generated by slow-speed machinery cannot be properly handled with traditional mechanical vibration switches or electronic vibration sensors.
