Larson Davis VibTrack vibration dosimeter - The risk of health damage caused by strong vibrations is well known, especially the intensive vibrations resulting in the so-called hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) in the case of hand-held power tools, affecting the fingers whitened by vibration. The unnoticed spread of the phenomenon, also known as Raynaud's syndrome, and ignoring it can lead to serious illnesses, damage, and even partial amputation.

Various measurement methods are used in the design of hand-held power tools, manufacturing, mining, and other industrial activities. However, vibration sensors with cables need to be installed in the respective tools, often close to rotating or reciprocating components, which in itself is a hazard. Accordingly, measurements are usually carried out only for short periods, affecting work performance. The VibTrack dosimeter solves all this: it can continuously and wirelessly record the vibrations affecting the worker throughout the entire shift, clearly and documentably, with minimal impact on work performance.
