Larson Davis HVM200 Vibration Protection - Instrument for measuring human-induced vibrations

The LD HVM200 (Human Vibration Monitor) instrument was specifically developed for measuring vibrations affecting humans, from hand-arm vibration analysis to whole-body vibration qualification. The numerical results of calculations according to the relevant standards can be displayed from the simultaneous triaxial measurements using a smart-phone or tablet-PC application. Thanks to the data-logging function of the Larson Davis HVM200 Vibration Protection instrument and its large memory - expandable up to 32 GB - detailed vibration data from long-term measurement series can be easily stored.

The simultaneous measurement of vibration in all three directions greatly facilitates test parameterization, increases repeatability, and allows for the comparability of vibration data. Based on the measurement data from the three channels, the LD HVM200 automatically calculates the important vector sum. In accordance with the latest measurement standards (and their updates), the LD HVM200 includes switchable digital filters for each channel. These filters can be updated to comply with any changes in the standards, ensuring that the LD HVM200 remains compliant with current legal regulations (or recommendations) in the long term.
